Chapelfield will be hosting a variety of events from June 9 until June 12 to celebrate Men's Health Week. Find out what will be happening each day here:
Monday 9th June
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital’s Genito-Urinary Medicine Clinic offers sexual health advice.
Free home Chlamydia testing kits.
Esporta will be giving fitness and health tests including a static fitness bike with a magic mirror! Plus mini health checks including calculating BMI and advising on a healthy lifestyle with fitness in mind
Tuesday 10th June
Male grooming and skin care from retailers in the centre. Get some grooming advice and some free samples.
Wednesday 11th June
Bupa Wellness will be giving health related advice.
Waitrose will be in the centre giving advice on healthy eating with fruit, vegetables and pomegranate samples; plus competitions.
Thursday 12th June
Active Norfolk: Find out about sporting opportunities in the local area and take part in a rowing challenge. The challenge will be how long it takes to row 500 metres; with the top five highest scores on a board throughout the day.
Volunteers from The Prostate Cancer Charity will also be in the centre to raise money.
Friday 13th June
Active Norfolk will be at the centre again. So if you didn’t get to take part in their rowing challenge you have another chance today.
Esporta will be giving gym and training demos and promoting 60 exercise classes for all ages and abilities ranging from Pilates, yoga, tai chi, to dance salsacise, body pump and combat.
Saturday 14th June
Boots Man Creche: For men in need of a bit of pampering while their ladies shop for Father’s Day presents.
Lakenham RFC will be demonstrating techniques and recruiting new talent
*** Sool Won will be showcasing amazing martial arts skills.
