Squash star Cassie Thomas won two medals at the Commonwealth Games and went on to become the world number one. When injury ended her illustrious career she embarked on another venture, running a sandwich bar in Norwich.

Ironically it was a problem with his car that propelled Mike Burrows to take up a career designing superbikes. Years on he is one of the world's most famous bike engineers with his work including the Lotus Superbike used by an Olympic gold medallist.
