Floral tributes for Brendan 7 August 2006 Tributes have been left at the scene of the accident which left 16-year-old Brendan Brooks tragically dead. Brendan died near the Cottage pub in Thorpe St Andrew after a collision with a car as he walked home from a party. Friends signed a football shirt of his favourite team, Tottenham Hotspur, which they placed with an England flag at the scene. Scarves were also left for the football-mad teenager.
