Welcome to the Evening News Local Heroes Awards 2008
For the last 6 years the Evening News Local Heroes Awards have been recognising the great unsung heroes of Norwich. These are people who go out of their way to help individuals or their communities with no expectation of reward or personal gain, or who show courage and determination against tremendous odds. We are proud to launch this year’s Awards in association with Holiday Inn Norwich North.
Devin Grosse, General Manager - "I am honoured to be part of The Evening News Local Heroes Awards 2008, not only by hosting the event in the Lancaster Suite at the Holiday Inn Norwich-North, but also by sponsoring this worthwhile and prestigious event. It is great to see the recognition of unsung heroes and the people of Norwich having a chance to reward those who make such a difference in the local community"
The winner of each of the 10 categories is presented with a highly prized trophy at a fabulous awards ceremony in October. We welcome your nominations for the 2008 Awards. Follow the links on the right for more details of this year’s Awards.
